The kids had a great time at school last Christmas. I thought that was as big as their parties got, but no. It looked like Halloween threw up breakfast, lunch, AND dinner in the main hall and I've never seen kids as excited as these ones were on Halloween. They were glowing. They didn't understand the concept of wearing an awesome, unique costume to stand out from everyone else and they didn't understand that "Trick or Treat" is a demand for treats. They were giddy at the idea of wearing the same costumes as their classmates and they loved shouting "Trick or Treat" and then giving their candy away to each other or to the teacher. They were so happy that they behaved faultlessly all day, even after eating practically a kilo of sweets each.
A studious little witch.
Some of us were too grown up for costumes, but no one is ever too big for Oreos and Boggle.
Isn't it awkward to be in the 6th grade?
