I love this project by documentarist Jessica Oreck. Each episode of Mysteries of Vernacular takes approximately 80 hours to create and it's somewhat slow-going. Four episodes have been completed since March and four more are currently in the works. The finished product will include all 26 letters of the alphabet. I check back ever couple of months to see what's new and each little video is well worth the wait. They're pretty to look at, fun to watch, and you're certain to learn something you didn't already know. My favorite so far is A is for Assassin.
